            First of all, when attending an auction, you are presented with the conditions of the sale , which very specifically explain bidding, returns and solving of  disputes. Simply speaking - "The Conditions of the Sale" protect you as the buyer, listing all your rights and responsibilities.

            Second - the price of the horse in the ring is decided strictly by market economics and is not individually fixed by the owner. Finally - an auction guarantees diversity.

            That is the reason why many of the extraordinary race horses (GALILEO, MASINI, TANKRED to name a few) were purchased at public auctions, bringing satisfaction to the owner and buyer likewise.
